Paul  has over 32 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting and private equity investments, including 18 years with a Big 4 public accounting firm. Paul leads internal audit, quality control and compliance services for the firm's banking and financial institution clients. In addition, he manages professional development for the firm's banking professionals. Paul has extensive experience in auditing financial services companies, including savings and loans, commercial banks, consumer finance companies, credit unions and trusts.

Prior to Accume, Paul worked for a Big 4 accounting firm where he directed a detailed review of the internal audit department for one of the country's largest mortgage banking companies. He also directed due diligence reviews on numerous acquisitions by financial institution clients, resulting in appreciable purchase price reductions.

He was also the Vice President of Financial Reporting and Assistant Corporate Controller of a $20 billion consumer finance company. He also served as a Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee of a Florida-based financial services holding company, responsible for oversight of the overall system of internal controls and procedures for the financial reporting process, including the evaluation of external auditor and internal auditor functions.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. He is a graduate of Montclair State University (B.S., Accounting).
